Source Filmmaker uses it's own, older build of TF2. But that's not important. What is important is that this version has a bunch of unused content (debug maps, unused Meet the Team stuff) that's not in the "real" version.

Should this be in a subpage on the TF2 page, or on it's own Source Filmmaker page?

I'm torn, just pick your favorite and go from there. SFM is TF2 at the moment but is eventually going to expand and it'd be silly to have to undo everything.

We can always put the TF2 stuff on a subpage of SFM and link back and forth.

... wasn't that used in some of the really early Team Fortress 2 promo images? Back when they were still basing this on the Half-Life / GoldSRC engine?

It's under the name devtest.bsp.

...nnnnnno. Like I just said, it's an early version of this room. You'll notice that that one central square thing is nearly untouched between the two.

The VTF format is different for some stuff, but VTFedit supports it fine. Hammer... I don't know, but there's a version included with SFM. You won't need GCFscape since everything's loose files.
