Quantum Conundrum.
Best first-person puzzler since Portal. The gameplay's fantastic, John De Lancie is the all-seeing character, and his dialogue is amazing, and yeah. Buy it.

Space Station 13. A free online game where you have a certain job and you just work on the space station along with other people. Eventually shit hits the fan and you try to escape on a shuttle.

I love how everyone has to work together to keep the ship running, but also how each round (of the game mode that I've been playing) has a traitor whose goal is to kill a certain target and escape. But he has to manage to do it without getting caught or the security officers will just stick him in the brig and forget about him.

Was playing Super Punch Out again until it seems that my ROM has a nasty bug in it (or maybe my emu, I dunno) where Mad Clown doing his head grab attack royally crashes the game. >_____<

I'm addicted to Tera Online -- the combat is so damn much fun, even more so because I'm on a PvP server. Kinda sucks when a level 60 1-shots me, because the time it takes to bring my stamina back up and run back to where I was sucks, but thankfully those instances are far and few.

I've had a lot of fun with it. But I could see the steep learning curve, annoying lag, and clunky interface turning some people off of the game. They are rewriting it in C#, though, because most of the lag is caused by the engine itself. So it lags even with a perfect connection.

Even still it can be quite enjoyable. I like playing as a security officer myself, since there's usually a good bit of action involved.

Back to Super Punch Out!!, finding out it was an emulator glitch that was causing the crash and not the ROM itself.

I just played Demon's Souls for the first time yesterday.

Oh my gosh. Insane and amazing. I must have died over fifty times in just the first area-- but I FINALLY reached and defeated the first major boss of the game. FELT SO SATISFYING.

Edit: If anyone's curious, the character class I use is the Hunter, but even though he started with a Battle Axe, I swapped it out in favor of the weaker, faster Scimitar. I'm kinda bummed though that I can't wear full Plate Mail without reducing my movement speed and nerfing my ability to roll-dodge which I've come to love. Also I really really hate the Bow. So hard to use.

On that note I don't think I've ever played such a grim video game before; just half a year ago I bought the PS3 being the first non-Nintendo console I've ever owned in my life, and until basically JUST NOW, the only game I'd owned for the PS3 is Disgaea 4, which is... well, I wouldn't use "grimdark" to describe it, that's for sure. XD

On that note, if anyone here plays Disgaea 4, feel free to friend me on PSN so we can share custom maps and allies and stuff! I'm "SchwaWarrior".

Started playing the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy on the PS3.

Do NOT buy it. It is a severe disappointment by the fact that they turned good games into shitty, bug-ridden, graphically glitchy crap. If you want to play them, grab them on the PS2.

I've always had the same problem. I just can't enjoy any of the stories enough to keep playing and I always lose interest halfway through one of 'em.

But now I'm playing some Dragon Quest IX. Story is kinda weak in that one, too, but the customization helps keep me interested. The shorter levels also kinda help. And running into enemies to battle instead of random battles is always a plus.

Finally got a copy of DKC Returns after it dropped price to $30...
