There's also a QR code on the wall in Alan's study in Chapter 2. I'm not sure whether to add that because it's easily accessible in the game without any hacking at all, but it has a snarky developer message about a rather unpopular Microsoft PR comment on the 360 version...

Found some stuff:
Was getting bored while playing Action Man: Robotatak (GBA) and decided to write DEBUG on the password screen. It worked. So far i know that there's a level selct in the pause menu. Coordinates shown on screen at the bottom and damage immunity (including falling down the hole).

I may have also found an in-game joke in Digimon Racing. When a character has not been unlocked it will say secret character and its picture will be replaced with a padlock. By cheating i chose the character after them and it came up as secret character but when i pressed back and went back to the character select (so its instantly on the non-existent digimon its name was 'Padlockmon'). Scrolling left or right turns it back to 'secret racer'.

They had file names that corresponded to what would have been actual in-game sound effects, but as they are now, they are simply copies of another sound effect that was used in the game. No idea why they didn't just delete them instead of overwriting them

I think the files were overwritten by a used sound effect file, but were left with their original names.

They may even all just point to the same location on the disc, but that'd be a lot of effort to modify the filesystem for some files that would normally be deleted... unless the game was programmed poorly and would fail to run without them for whatever reason.

It's also possible that they were placeholder sounds. You know, copied and pasted and renamed. That would make more sense than saving over four separate sound files.

So in the horrible ending cutscene of Sonic Colors, there's a scene with some sort of screen that has a lot of hexadecimal numbers on it

There's actually something very interesting about those screenshots, and it involves the sky. See how there's a light layer of clouds scattered across the entire sky? Those aren't present in the final version of the sky. But, in the model for the sky, there's an unusual dome-ish mesh that goes across the top of the sky, but isn't textured with anything. (Plus, all Delfino location sky textures are stored externally somewhere, not with the model.) I didn't know what it was for earlier, but now I'm sure that it is the leftover mesh for that layer of clouds.

Championship Pro-Am on Genesis appears to have a cheat code, but I can't tell what it does. The code is simple: Down+A+B+Start on the title screen. If you did it right, you'll hear a ring. Can anyone else tell? Thanks.

Tech: the game sets byte $FF0310 to 1, which has some side effects that again I can't tell what they are, such as setting byte $FF0609 to 5.
