Passwords have only been stored in plain text in the early, early days of Acmlmboard (early 2001). Even now, the only place they're stored that way is in browser cookie.

I've been meaning to update the system for a while. Maybe it'd be a good idea to do it, uh, soon.

That would, unfortunately, take a lot of work (but probably be more than worth it)
