But I agree, "NSFW material" would be better than "porn-like images".

Personally, I think a cactus banner is exactly what should be done. I do sometimes browse TCRF at school and that's a fair solution.

Alternatively, if you wanted to overcomplicate, I guess we could hide NSFW stuff in a Javascript container. To solve the no Javascript problem, you can just make it visible by default and /hiding/ it with Javascript after page load. I still think a banner would suffice, though.

If you /really/ want to overcomplicate it, have a banner that you can customize with descriptions of the NSFW content. For example, "This article contains NSFW content, including three and a half pairs of boobs. You have been warned."

NSFW warning banner at the top, and stick to small thumbnails for inline NSFW images. "NSFW" being "anything that someone might see on the screen from a few feet away and go "WTF are you looking at?" and get all uppity." That's all that's needed.

If someone links to an NSFW section partway through an article and bypasses the warning box:
1) keep the image thumbnails fairly small so it's not terribly noticeable, and
2) slap the idiot who did that without warning that the link is NSFW, like you would anywhere else.

Simple.

I go on TCRF at college sometimes, anyway since Xkeeper is an admin wouldn't that make looking after TCRF a job, therefore he's pretty much always working whilst on TCRF .
