Hello everyone... I have been searching Earthworm Jim 1 and 2 a bit... I first have found some strange stuff in HEX such as "RAM OFFSET" etc...
When, I found some nice cheat stuffs you can do in the Pause menu in both games...
One of the cheat codes enable an secret debug mode. You can use for go an specific level, have cheat mode (invincible), MAP VIEW MODE (Use Earthworm Jim like an "Camera Mode" for the map, press any button will respawn the Jim in that place. There is also Freezeability mode, which I don't really know which it does.
This still needs more research, here goes screens:

How to do:
Debug mode:
Pause game play and press Left + A, B(2), A, Right + A, B(2), A. A picture of the development team will be displayed to confirm correct code entry.

There is one Debug mode, that seems to have "81" whatever is worms... Don't ask me why about this... I don't get it.

And the configuration menu, similar to EJW1, except that there is sound test, but don't have the Freezeability mode...

*Some sound effects/musics seems unused, it need researching*
How to do:

---Strange Code, fake?---
In the same site, gamewinners, it's saying there is a code for make an "Donkey Kong Head" appears by pushing determinated buttons. I doesn't seems to work well.
Donkey Kong head:

*The only difference (most important) is the Pause / Dim option. It disables or enables the pause have darkness or not [EJW1 had codes for that]

The Freezability option lets you make a "clean pause" (without the screen darkening), which was probably used for taking screenshots for the magazines.

Those cheat screens have been known since the good ol' days, but I didn't know about the 81 worms thing...

Code also exists in EWJ1 SNES version, as given by Apr 1995 issue of Game Players: Pause then Left+A, B, X, A, A, B, X, A.

Untested by me personally. According to GP screenshots, functionally identical tothe MD version, visually differences are:

1) Build date is August 23, 1994
2) "DAVID PERRY'S PRIVATE CHEAT MODE" in MD version replaced by Shiny's U.S. telephone and fax numbers
3) All numerical values are in hex, similar to EWJ2 SNES

One other minor difference is that the Genesis version refers to SPRTLIST.68K where the SNES version refers to SPRTLIST.658 (owing to the different processors); I'm assuming that's just two different versions of the level data where the Genesis one contains the extra data for Intestinal Distress.

Those are Mealworms, they're used in the trivia minigame in the Villi People level. Presumably that code is in for ease of testing the trivia minigame.

no, credist are in second hex blocks, first ones are from cheat menus
GLobal Gladiator cheat for secret menu is know already, C, B, A, Start, C, B, A, Start, C, B, A, Start, C, B, A, Start at the sega logo, when lights is over.
two more cheats available on gamefaqs, and one more unknown is "A, C, B, C, A, B, A, C, B, C, A, B, Start" (i don't know when it should be entered)

Terminator have unused menu at 0x000FF3F2 offset, you can patch RESET vector to access it in emulator, there is no code left to access it from the game seems...
