I had General Tso's Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein and beef fried rice tonight (as well as some egg drop soup), which was nice.

Not quite chicken soup, but that does sound pretty good

It's funny, the weather here has actually been kind of nice. It's cold when I go to work, but usually when I leave for lunch (or to change offices) midway through the day my truck's interior is comfortably warm, and usually enough that I can roll down the windows.

It cooled down recently though, since it wasn't getting down to 32°F a few days ago

Both of my sons have gone through a cold already this year. First my oldest, then the younger one got it from him. So far all I've gotten is a runny nose for a few mornings *knock on wood*.

My mom's still sick from the flu she caught during Christmas, though she has been getting better on the antibiotics.

Kinda felt scared for a moment when she said she had to stop taking her usual meds because she couldn't hold them down.

I'm really, really trying to avoid getting it. I can just barely pay my own bills as it is, and taking time off from work would royally screw me over at this point, where I'm not getting as many hours as I have been due to the winter being a slow time.

If I get it, I'm going to go nuts on the stuff to try and get rid of it. ;
