Read what I post, and you will be awesome.

The difference is that you can't attach files and screenshots here, so you'll have to host the files yourself. You can embed images using the IMG tag. Please don't embed screenshots bigger than 640x480.

As usual, don't post links to ROMs, use PPF patches instead. You can also post links to Youtube videos if you want, just don't try to embed them.

If you are posting a link to a mod/PPF patch, you should embed a screenshot in your post so that we can see what it's about before downloading.

While you can post screenshots and patches of small interesting mods, don't add a new post each time there's a little minute change in your mod, wait until there's enough changes for it to be worthwhile.

Change in policy: Even if you're working on a major modding project, you'll have to ask for permission to make an individual thread about it.

Can I post my 2 Major ROM Hacks (PPF Patches of course) when there done?

Stop making post backgrounds which are impossible to read. You have been warned. Also, your mods will most likely not be finished. In the improbable event they are done, then they can be posted in the 'finished mods' topic, but even then, only if they are relatively good. Otherwise they just go in the stickied mod thread.

That is also unreadable.

Please desist in post backgrounds altogether.

I've started hacking SM 64 a few weeks ago after watching a tutorial from Lugmillord, and since hacking today is possible without technical knowledge thanks to the OBJimporter and Toadstool, I finished my first levels, which I'd like to present here.

Here is a video displaying parts of the Levels:

Well back to the hack. College has laid off the huge pile of work I've recently been getting, and it's currently the half term so I'm hoping to finish off both my forest and MLP levels as well as start of a new one

@Megaman511again: I am German, so I had no problems with them being German. I don't know if there is a comparabel tutorial in English.

My next level is finished, so 35 stars are now available in my hack.

I couldn't believe it at first, but now that I'm certain, I just became 20% more excited for this hack.

I recently ran into computer problems and lost all my work on my texture hack again, but I managed to save all of the portraits beside Wet-Dry World which didn't turn out well.

Link to each portrait and older versions.

I've learned model importing, thanks to skelux!
Now, hopefully, I can make some custom objects for my hack.
Here's an import test of a rupee from Zelda:

Here a long video that fun watch and a little funny too. I found a new uses for a couple of warps that is not often used. If you get a star or if you lose a life you will remind in the same level with all your coins and progress rather then being thrown out of a level each time.

But there a downside to this. If you lose a life by getting crush Mario's model will disappear and you won't be able to move or exit a level.

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
