Actually, I just second items with effects in general. Speaking of which, does the Totally Useless Amulet REALLY do nothing? It's gotta do something unless you're just fooling those who bought it saying, "It HAS to do something."

No, it's useless. There are no item effects. And until I think of a good system for them, there probably won't be for a while.

It wouldn't be "giving you them back" since I never took them. It'd be "editing the smilies.dat file again since it reverted to god-knows-when."

Editlayout could be added back, but why; you have a box in your profile for that purpose, not to mention you can use a seperate .HTML or something for testing instead of wasting bandwidth

I don't like the idea of being able to get extra stuff by buying stuff with virtual money. We are an community not an "get bonus features by posting a lot".

Somebody needs to go back to History class...

Edit: I should fix the smilies.dat file if only to fix that stupid :[/quote] bug.

Ok, I know the reason for not having complete freedom, but why not do something like what I did at my board - just add a few more options to Sex, and sort everything by color - a set of Blue colors, a set of Red, a set of Green, a set of Orange, a set of Purple. The way we had done it was higher powerlevels had a higher concentration of color (for example, #0000FF admins vs. #9696FF normal users with the Blue option.)

As an added bonus, the code already supports it, you just have to add a few options and adjust the ones already in place.
