I found some Images in a folder named "Install" on the PC Version in the packed data files... Which aren't used at all since Steam is the one that handles the installation...
Even more odd, that folder seems to be from Sonic Unleashed as well.

There is also a Items folder with the images of every Sonic Unleashed items....

EDIT: Theres More but i only uploaded these two for now...And they seems just basic images of Sonic Unleashed :\

Irfanview can open DDS images (might need to get the Irfanview plugins pack, though), and from there you can easily save them as PNGs or even do a batch conversion.

I recall seeing that there are internal filenames that make reference to a Wii version. That would be worth looking into.



Random fun fact: the clouds from Sky Sanctuary are recolors from the ones from Sweet Mountain in Colors. Same resolution and all.

I'll give it a try if i can. as it's quite hard to work with their messy files...

P.S. If you got Generations for PC and wanna help, Get quickbms with the script cpk.bms ...

EDIT: The Loading "Logos" are mixed with Sonic Unleashed (US and JP) Logos...

EDIT2: Theres Files that seems to mean that they once planned to add Windowed Support ... Why they didn't ?

Probably ought to put our resources elsewhere. Sonic Retro pretty much has Generations covered. I'm pretty sure they're in the process of comparing the final to the first demo, which should be interesting to see since there was quite a bit changed, especially with the lua files.

That kinda is the point of retro, or used to be... There's less interest in game research there as of late I suppose. Even so, it might be best to go over there and help them with their wiki entries. They've pretty much located all the unused/leftover stuff. Their issue tends to be organization and motivation so a helpful nudge couldn't hurt.

Huh, I thought it is unused since consoles normally doesn't need an installer and Steam Does it's job... but guess i'm wrong then.
