Well fuck. There's still a shot, but that saddens me. It's weird that they'd replace Marth with Ike though, as some of his stuff is very different.

On the subject of Jigglypuff, here's the reason that he's in. There is no other pokemon to replace Jigglypuff. Lucas and Ness are similar, Marth and Ike are similar, but the only way to get a similar pokemon to replace Jigglypuff is to replace it with it's evolved form, Wigglytuff. In short, it's too unique to be thrown out.

I got my new nintendo Power today and in a short about SSBB, they mentioned that you can now double jump after doing a mid-air dodge. I don't think that's been mentioned before. I know I'll put that to good use.

Cause the mid-air dodge works differently from what I heard. Instead of allowing you to dodge in the direction of your choice you only dodge towards the direction you are currently going.

Least that is what I think I heard.

Agreed. Mid-air dodging was a key component of any strategy for me and I'd like to be able to utilize it the way I'm used to it.

I'm used to one-shotting my opponents while they don't harm me in the least.

They darn well better let me utilize it that way!

I must also agree on this. Honestly, only being able to dodge in one direction kinda kills lot of the midair dodge's usefulness.

It'd definitely affect the way I recover. I sometimes use the mid-air dodges to recover from a meteor smash attempt, since my B-Up move (Ness) may possibly screw me over, given the "right" (well, it'd be wrong, but blah) situation/position. With the direction used when actually trying to dodge an attack... Well, the only situation I can think of that'll mess you up is if you're at the edge and you mid-air dodge off of the stage. :/

Well, even if this is true, it's not that bad. At least roll-dodging exists.

Unless Jigglypuff has a different final smash. I could not think of any better though.
If the sole premise of your logic is "They can't duplicate final smashes!" they should remove Pikachu also, seeing how his final smash is used by Sonic.

They will be close, but not duplicates.
Jigglypuff will not have peaches falling, but if it does have a simple sleep attack that means it will be weaker than Peach's since Peach can recharge health. If Jigglypuff does have a sleep final smash, there would have to be some sort of special something like that (more range with song? does damage somehow?).
