I recently played with an copy from 1.A* era of the board. ||bass made a mess of it. heh, Even though it has some injection protection.

Wow 10 years.. I remember when Acmlm was coding the basic of the board in 2000. Shroomy, Wonderswan (I think he was around at this point), and I watching has the board took shape.

Time flys

Ah, but... I've interacted with you much more recently than blades~

I registered on the 22nd of December, 2003, I guess

True.

For "on the record purposes"
The Registration times for Acmlm and I on the original Live version
Acmlm: 01-22-01 11:09 PM
Myself: 01-22-01 11:31 PM

..and for the first development board it was during Christmas (Acmlm would know this better than I) 12-20-00~1-22-01

12-11-04 here. Old but not really. At least to me. I missed the 'early era' and sort of sat aloof from affairs until things exploded post-incarnation 3.

Well, I might as well join in as well -- not sure if you remember me, Dekker. I was a member of AntiReality and still post on Vizzed once in a while. I do come by here everyday, even though I don't post much (I only found my password to this place recently). I wasn't here since the very beginning, but in 3 days it will be 8 years since I joined Acmlm's. Good to see a lot of the old names.

According to some source I found, it was the 22nd of December 2003.

It wasn't just ||bass that worked on 1.A?, if he even did. I'm pretty sure it was Jesper and a few others.

The current version of the board is considerably more secure (for a variety of reasons). Most of the underlying code isn't fixed, but there are some intelligent firewalls that take care of problem issues before they hit the code.

As for me, 07-01-01, a little after 9 PM local time. Board-wise it was 07-02-2001, but I don't consider that correct for my records.

Ahh Indeed. I just lumped it together since his name is more assigned with that branch than anyone.

Lucky the board was popular at that time. It benefited a lot by being at a time the exploits were not as well known/obscure.

I remember when we launched it was still using flat-files, and well.. Acmlm asked for a MySQL DB not too long after that. After about 5+ or so attempts to access the board it wouldn't fully write out he file streams and everything would just get truncated.

11/03/01 for me. Would have been sooner but I was busy on the smaller acmlm-type boards.

08-15-01 here. (theclaw) Activity is the one thing I've got much to make up for. So many remnants of old projects... Only reason I don't have a borderline fossilized acmlm board of my own still "active", is the web host went under. Haha. Compared to my barren Yuku boards which do remain up.

Don't forget copying a backup version of the files when editing a post, so when activity went up, well.

And the world-viewable user files.

Original join date: 3/2/01 (though I hung around a couple other boards with Acmlm before that)

So old-school it hurts.

Yes.. I forgot about that. :/ At least it didn't take too long for the switch to a MySQL backend.

I started talking to Acmlm when I was working on Mario Allstars stuff. That was back on the old WWWThreads board. Fun stuff!

Every time I read this thread I pretty much just think: "What, all these people are making posts? I must be high..."

I like this thread.

Also, my join date was 07-01-04, I might be a semi-oldbie? Maybe?

Just when I think we can't possibly have more oldbies show up ...

I still have your five modtracker files for the old "guess the game music" contest things. Even though one of them actually features a lot of various anime songs, like Catch You Catch Me

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and

the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
