All mobile devices suck. Apple's stuff if fucking terrible but it's very slightly less terrible than the competition. Unfortunately, I need a hardware keyboard, so I found owning an iphone to be unpleasant. Also, jailbreaking seems to have been getting more and more difficult, and there's no fucking way I'm using an iphone with the godawful stock firmware. It absolutely needs software modding to be not awful... and to be better than android.

I personally am rather satisfied with iOS5 over previous ones (though I still wish they would make it so push notifications don't fucking disrupt and suspend the alarm clock indefinitely )

my iPhone 3G was perfectly fine up until its iOS4 days, where it proceeded to become a nearly inoperable lag machine. My new 4S is fantastic though I'm sure in several years I'll have similar complaints. It does everything I need, make/receive calls and send texts plus a few other cool things, so I am honestly satisfied. I use Copytrans Manager that yde pointed out, though I don't believe it works with iOS5...perhaps the newest update does, I haven't tried it yet.

Then again, the only Apple product I ever had was the iPod shuffle and yeah, that was a rather bad product.

I never understood the point of the Shuffle. Just seemed like a really dumb idea to me.

The USB connector snapped right off after less than one years use.

Been quite the opposite experience here.

1st gen iPod shuffle, outlasted a myriad of later-generation Apple devices, which all broke and caused my sister to abandon iTunes.

She still regrets trading that 1st gen iPod to me

Eh, I guess I might have just gotten a pretty bad dud.

But it's not like having my first ever product with them horribly fail is gonna give me a nice state of mind about them.

I don't care for Apple products either. I have a third party music player. It, too, outlived all the newer Apple devices.

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
