The current version of the board is considerably more secure (for a variety of reasons). Most of the underlying code isn't fixed, but there are some intelligent firewalls that take care of problem issues before they hit the code. As for me, 07-01-01, a little after 9 PM local time. Board-wise it was 07-02-2001, but I don't consider that correct for my records. ____________________

It benefited a lot by being at a time the exploits were not as well known/obscure. I remember when we launched it was still using flat-files, and well.. Acmlm asked for a MySQL DB not too long after that. After about 5+ or so attempts to access the board it wouldn't fully write out he file streams and everything would just get truncated. |
