I have found some stuff in the game, I still didn't searched all of them.

MiniMap: Don't know if is used or not, but I think it's from the start of cp_steel when using BLU team:


Teleporter not detected: I guess when you place a exit without a entrance would appear that icon???:

Those minimap sprites look like something that would be used in the Hammer editor. What is their file path?

The teleporter not detected pic looks like a picture for an achievement. I'd reccomend emailing Robin Walker as he'd probably respond.

team fortress 2 materias.gcf -> tf/materials/sprites/minimap_icons

I don't know about it. The teleporter is found at the HUD folder... No any icon of achievement found there.

newworldrpg_combo is the TFC Rocket Launcher world model's texture. Things like that and the unused spawn room Turret model make me 100% sure that TF2 is based on a port of TFC to Source.

The first texture is CS 1.6's HUD textures.

"Minimap" refers to a GoldSrc options for observers where they could view a 2D version of a level. Those icons were likely for showing the person you were observing was on the red or blue team. The crossbones icon is for someone that died.

"carpettest" is the TFC Red team logo. The first trailer shows that they were still using the TFC team logos well into development of TF2 as we know it.

tf_box was added in the Free2Play patch IIRC... It was probably intended for some "buy the full game to get full access" thing.
IIRC there's also TTF fonts in resource/ for the CSS HUD elements.

I can tell you that the box model is the ones used in the "Meet the ____________" videos. It's definitely a leftover from those early stages, as those videos were filmed using actual gameplay instead of just animation.

Actually, It was added way before TF2 went F2P. It got added during a update on April 14 and has been sitting around in the files ever since.
