Well, I just finished this updated character design for a tournamentart/RP group that I an co-running with a friend who is on here. I can estimate that at least maybe 12 hours or more of work has been put into it.

I actually made the whole thing double the size of a normal canvas for me (2833×8112px) which made my laptop lag a bit when I had 20+ layers with loads of transparency data (which I pared down by actually erasing parts of the layers that I did not need at all which helped greatly.) To get a feel of how big a canvas I was working on, here is a screenshot of the character's face at 100% zoom. Tools used was primarily Pain Tool SAI with Photoshop for the fishnets.
