It looks green good! I also like the blur effect. Fixed backgrounds are so fun!

That's good to know. It seems to work okay on my phone (Mobile Safari) as well, though I don't get the cool parallax effect. Boo.

The basic HTML and CSS were originally made for a final project in college, and I remember fighting with it tooth-and-nail because the fixed backgrounds were anchoring to the wrong point (the upper left corner of the containing DIV, instead of the browser window) in the version of IE they had. (Images inside the box were also disappearing for no reason, but that was a separate issue entirely, with its own set of ridiculous fixes.)

I have some browser-specific CSS that was intended to fix this, but I left it out this time around. Hacks are stupid.

I was actually inspired by a website I saw a few years ago that had a similar blur/rippled glass effect, but your layout (and others like it) did inspire me to ditch the old TC theme.

However, it may briefly return in a modified form when Solatorobo is released. Watch out!

I actually kind of dislike the blur effect. Something about it just... Looks incorrect.

Edit: Specifically It's like looking through a foggy window. I have the urge to clean it. But I can't, because it's not real, it's part of your dumb layout.

My first impression is that the blur seems a little overly strong- but I don't get that impression from your site, maybe it's because the borders are thicker there...
