Machi-Machi v. Kyan!
I forgot that the old-style DS isn't like it is now because of Congress passing that one law so I ended up being an hour late to work today...it's next week. Damn XP said it was Sunday and some of my devices did as well.

Was anyone else as dumb?

EDIT: Seems so...

We were having fun at work yesterday due to this. Our time clock set itself back an hour. Most of us just went ahead and clocked in, but a few people were dumb enough to where we were able to mess with their heads and convince them that they had somehow managed to show up an hour early. After a while though, it got annoying hearing the next ten people seriously saying "OMG! Is it really only 10?!" Well let's see, in order to get here at this time, that means you left your house at 10:30. So yeah, you've managed to travel back in time

What sucks is that the owner of our store is known for being a little senile and going off on us for the dumbest shit, so it's going to be nearly impossible to convince her that the time clock screwed up and we didn't all actually clock in an hour early. Then if we do, she'll probably bitch at us for not writing the time in manually and therefore forcing her to think.

*claps*

Bet you anything SOMEONE at work will get nailed with that. Especially since most of them don't follow the news.

I will gladly take advantage of that extra hour of sleep next weekend.

Oh, and Hiryuu... patch your XP.

On my 56K? As if with a leaked copy of SP3.

The easier alternative is 'set by time.windows.com'.

Eh, just use WindizUpdate and just download the DST patch.

At least I wasn't caught off guard.

when did the DS come out? Didn't the US congress pass the law readjusting daylight savings time back in 2005?

I had one (1) message in Discord deleted and proceeded to make a huge, huge mess about how it was a violation of free speech and how moderators are supposed to be spam janitors and nobody should have the right to tell me not to talk about school shootings

Since when does the DS auto-adjust at all?

Yeah, I was late for work thanks to Microsoft. >:[ Funny, I installed the patch and it's set to sync with time.windows.com, but it still set itself back. Argh.

I'm pretty sure it was fairly recent, the earliest being 2006
