Well, it's not really anything to do with prototypes, cancelled games, or unused/debug text, so probably not. Presumably it will get translated eventually. That sounds like it would be more of interest to a gaming news site than The Cutting Room Floor forum.

Thanks for translating it

They're probably all names of characters in the game, since one of them is "Kunio", and "Tachibana" appears in a segment about the game on Wikipedia.

That still leaves the question of what the menu is actually for...

There's an actual staff roll at the end of the game (which you can skip to with the PAR code 7E004324), which is probably the only text in the entire game that's in English.

Looks like someone translated the Japanese script and put it online, where they romanized the spell as "Latobarita Uruth Ariaroth Bal Netoreel". I'm not sure what the official English translation of the movie says, and I can't remember which scene it appears in. Probably one of the climactic ones, but I don't feel like watching the entire thing to figure it out. Otherwise, I agree with your translation!

It's because they're escaped to show up properly. There's nothing that can really be done; they work fine either way, so don't worry about having to fix them for each post.

If you need to, you can always use something like a decoder to edit it. (Scroll down and fill in the box, then click decode).



On topic, I find the notes pretty fascinating. It's neat to see the development that went on.
