Aw I'm glad you like my selection so much. I worked really hard to put together a collection of music I've been listening to lately that perfectly describes how I feel about life and my relationship with my boyfriend and my relationships in general. I just did a run through this mix and it's utterly heartbreaking how accurate it is. I almost started crying towards the end.

If you ask me, I'm particularly fond of everything from "I Stand Corrected" to "Fake Plastic Trees". It's something of a descent from idealistic love to just pure emptiness and finally resignation to self-blame and self-hate. If only someone would follow you into the dark. But not everyone can be the Ben Gibbard to your Zooey Deschanel, I guess.

The Gusty Garden music is just a little intermission right before everything takes a sharp drop in mood. I picked that song because my boyfriend and I used to listen to it a lot before we were dating. It isn't really our song but it kinda is too.
