I had some time between tasks today, so I went to a cat shelter to see the kitties They had like 6 in a room, some hiding different places. Took me a while to spot the little white kitty so cutely napping on a shelf high on the wall, and the pile of fur (later identified as a cat) hiding in the bin on the ground. Some of them meowed at me, and I meowed back

There was a fat and fluffy kitty right by the window where we could look in, cleaning itself and then sleeping in like the cutest way possible. It wasn't coloured quite like hydra (it was mostly white with some orange) but it was SO CUTE I wished I could pet it.

It was a long walk back to UW, so I was just about to leave, when the staff used a previously empty room to unleash the little kittens! They were so adorable! A few people (mostly kids) were let in to play with them while I was watching another window. Hopefully I can play with the kittens sometime too. They were so energetic and playful and pretty and cute There was a tortie kitten, a grey tabby, and a couple of orange tabbies. Aww... I had to leave to go back to class though, I got there with a few minutes to spare.

I wish I had brought my camera with me.

Oh, I saw a really cute dog when I was lost in the Philadelphian suburbs with my friend. My friend played with the dog for like ten minutes and then we took pictures of the dog and the dog started following us! It was so adorable. I'm not a huge fan of animals myself but everyone is, like that Daft Punk album, human after all and dogs are just so cute sometimes.

I actually don't like dogs at all. People are surprised by that because of how much I love kitties. But I don't really find dogs cute, and I think they're annoying and sound vicious. I did have a bad experience with a dog when I was like 3, maybe that's why.

But I'm a cat person

I love all animals but I've become partial to rats! Even my mother has warmed up to little Caoimhe, all it took was an assault of rattie kisses on her hand!

I don't like cats whatsoever... unless they're my own. I think I've been spoiled so much by the cats that I have that other cats just seem lame in comparison. Mine are actually PLAYFUL! And curious! And active! You know, the way you'd expect cats to actually, er, be... they're kind of attention whores though, but what pets aren't?

Dogs are p. cool too, though. I met this totally awesome lost Golden Retriever a few months ago. :> They were sweet and totally loved me, but we couldn't quite keep them, so we had to take them to a shelter. That sucked. I honestly really sincerely hope they a decent home now and that someone's taken them in, because they were a good dog.

I had to house sit for my aunt and uncle for a week once while they were in China or something and I was staying in my cousin's room, all of my stuff I managed to salvage from home stored in a bunch of different plastic bags. So one day I was going out somewhere with my mother and I had a bunch of bags to take with me so while I was waiting for her I just walked around the house with all the bags in my arms and to my surprise one of the two cats was totally fucking scared of me holding my huge bags. I have no idea why! But it was so scared so I started chasing, bags in all, and the cat would keep scrambling, hiding under a chair, under the table, under wherever to avoid this scary thing holding a bunch of bags.

And eventually the cat started being afraid of me without the bags. Like if it saw me it'd just dash away as quickly as possible.

The other cat was more social and kept trying to eat my breakfast whenever I cooked it and it also kept jumping at me affectionately and brushing itself against me and at first I thought it was cute but then I started noticing that whenever they did this my skin would get inflamed so I started sprayed the cat with water if it ever tried to get close. Sometimes I'd spray it with water if it wasn't even doing anything.

When it was finally time for me to move again I'd come out of the room and all the cats would just immediately disperse, like instantly, quick as a flash. My mother saw this and she was like, "What the hell have you done with the cats!? Why are they afraid of you?"

And I was like, "They were annoying me."

A Doberman Pinscher bit off my face at about 12 years old. But I had my vengeance. The dog died a horrible death of Leukemia.

I guess my face is deadly. Better not bite it off.

Of course there's a whole string of stories like that, like the bike I hated that got hit by a car and destroyed.

Bit off your face? Ouch...

As for cats, I admit to being a fan of them myself... though the only cats I see very often are the two who live there.

Yeah. Luckily it was only to a shallow extent. Missed my eye just barely and took several years for the scars to go away, but, yeah. Painful.

Kitties!

Animals seem to really like me. Too bad I'm allergic to dogs and cats, as otherwise I'd probably have a cat. Maybe I'll still get one in the future.

I like other people's animals far more than I'd like to have my own animals. RIght now, I'm just not someone who wants to have something depend on them, I guess.

I dig many types of animals though.

I love most animals but I don't really want to get one myself. It's mainly because I'm afraid that I'll get attached to it and then after a decade or so... you know. I have to face that pretty soon because the guide dog that we have because my mum is blind is 10 next year, which is the mandatory retirement age for guide dogs. We can't keep him as nobody would be in the house to look after him, so we have to give him up.

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
