Each of those gates takes you to a different, connected world. You can return to the main map at any time via the "/spawn" command.


Also, the Kokiri Forest map is almost ready.

Question!

How do you automate the map-making of the server? I think you use Cartograph, but I don't know how to make it update every __ hours.

They are indeed disabled in the creative world's Nether. Shouldn't be in survival world's Nether though.

in creative land, I've found a very tall mountain island that I added a small lava pool at the top to try and simulate that it is volcanic. To get there, just use the eastbound rail from spawn(Blue)and take it to the end. I still need to finish the station there.

OK peeps, good news and bad news!

Good news: We're getting pistons on Thursday! And sticky pistons!

Bad news: The whole "Adventure Update" thing isn't going to be ready for a good while.

At least we're getting the pistons though. =)

Question. Would anyone happen to have a backup of the old map, the one with Spawn City, Borderlands, etc? I seem to have misplaced my savefile that had the build schematics for my pirate ship, my airships, my towers and my floating landmasses. I'd be able to grab a floating island as well as the pirate ship from a map backup if possible.

Looks like the Adventure Update isn't slated until probably sometime in September.

It's going to be really interesting though, it's going to feel like a whole new game. I might implore some of the people who left for Terraria to give the update a try when it comes out. There's a shitload of things that they're messing around with and adding. This ought to be really good.
