The USF set of Banjo-Tooie has two tracks marked "unknown", so I decided to check them out.

Well, they both appear to be leftovers from the first game, Banjo-Kazooie. The first one was used when you collected the eggs/feathers fill-up at the very top of the tower (right before the Gruntilda fight). The second one is that fanfare that played whenever you opened up a note door, which don't exist anymore in Tooie.

Am I right in assuming they're unused, or am I wrong there? I haven't played that game since my N64 broke, so...

Just found out there's another track "Unused extra life". The name is pretty self-explanatory - Rare decided to do away with extra lives in Tooie, so this track disappeared along with them.

EDIT: There's another track called "Jinjo Village: Unknown". It features the drums, wind SFX, but is missing the main theme. Is this used in some cutscene, or it it another unused track?

I can't really listen to the usfs as Winamp 5.61 keeps looping back to the setup screen on my machine after installation.

However, I do know that the item fill-ups before the final battle in Banjo-Kazooie each have unique sounds. I wonder which one it is?

There's also an unused extra life jingle from the first game in the usf. Whoops, didn't see Prince Kassad's last reply because I was creating this one.
