Well that was a productive morning- finished my oral exam, had lunch, got a haircut, bought a Mother's Day card, and acquired a cardboard box (for shipping stuff)... totally justifies doing nothing all afternoon, which will probably be the case.

Yes. I am on my way, indeed.

It is my plan to hit #4, since it seems besides you there is only FirePhoenix--besides that are three uber-active people I couldn't hope to catch up to unless they stopped posting for a very, VERY long time.

So I just finished my lab report due tomorrow, about calculating the acceleration due to Earth's gravity.

14.67 m/s2

I did the same experiment and managed to get 8.5m-2.

Then again, my partner and I are notorious for screwing up the experiment somehow

Urgh, the last half hour or so before an exam, where you can't take the exam yet but are all ready to do so, is like the worst thing ever... I don't even know why I'm worrying about the exam, it's in a class that's irrelevant to my major and that I've done fairly well in this semester to date. But, in any case, urgh.

Yesterday I'm at Saks Fifth Avenue and go up to a store assistant and I ask her if they have vintage-style skinny jeans. The woman looks at me, I'm wearing my orange vintage sundress by Lucca Couture, a blue cardigan by BDG, dark blue footless tights and purple canvas shoes, and she tells me they only sell modern-style clothing in this store but that I'm more than welcome to browse their selection of jeans. Then she tells me she only works in the sunglasses part of the store so I ask her if they have sunglasses, the kind you see Kanye West wearing.

This store person laughs awkwardly at my question and then she says she doesn't know what sort of glasses he wears. Then my friend asks if they have trip pants and she throws him a glare and then after that we have to leave.

I'm not either. I'm totally into the whole tasty food thing, though.

I'm a chocolate addict, myself I often felt like the only non-vegetarian among my old group of RL friends.

I don't get how you guys can be not into organic foods. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods produce wonderful stuff. I think their products are actually higher quality than regular non-specialized grocery store chains. Some of Whole Foods's generic brand things are really good, especially their soda.

Also Trader Joe's is cheaper, too. I saved like a dollar buying bacon from there instead of Oscar Mayer bacon from Shaw's. Did I mention the bacon was organic?

I like Trader Joe's but there ain't any nearby. I've only been there with my boyfriend (who does his groceries there quite often) ...

I don't really look after preservatives and other evil things I probably shouldn't eat, as my budget is incredibly thin and I'm really only worried about actually eating something. (I spent almost a year in some place that due to certain restrictions, I ended up eating once a day and I had little control over what)

Organic food is not more nutritious or healthy than conventional food. Modern synthetic pesticides and fertilizers used in conventional farming are very safe, and organic pesticides and fertilizers are actually much more harmful to consume. Organic farming produces much less food than conventional farming, so if every farm was organic, billions would starve to death. Most organic foods you find in stores are not even grown locally, as organic farming is a pretty big business these days. Most organic food is much more expensive than the alternative, too. Above all else, perhaps, is that very few people can actually taste the difference anyway.

If you like some brands of organic food over conventional competitors, that's fine by me, but be aware that the organic label is not what makes it better.

Dude, you are, like, totally misunderstanding me.

I was more commenting on how Terra wasn't shopping at these locations just because she wasn't "into" organic/vegetarian food as opposed to convenience or whatever, which I think is kind of irrational when having all these different stores means a variety of prices and products. Never in my post did I ever tout "organic preservatives" or some mass global farming changeover.

It's cool if you're just trying to educate everyone but otherwise, way to strawman me, man.

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and

the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
