Well, that's not really a surprise. :T Anytime there's some sort of satire, there's someone bound to take it at face value. There's a "law" for this, but I can't remember the name.
I mean, there are people who think Fight Club condones underground boxing clubs to vent pent up masculinity in a matriarchal society rather than being a critique of consumerist culture and/or a metaphor for European fascism. Like, they think guys are supposed to punch random people or something.
