On days like today where the temperature is around 55, I definitely prefer the sun, otherwise it just gets depressing. Admittedly, if it's already hot out then the sun can make things worse, but even so...  ____________________ |

I have strange tastes. I prefer rain to anything else, but if it's not raining I'd rather it just be a little sunny out with some clouds mixed in. I hate totally clear days. They give me headaches. ____________________ |

Paulguy's Post configuration I like clouds. I'm albino so my eyes are very sensitive to light and also the clouds make it so I don't burn as easily outside.
But I also like the general tone as well. Things are more neutral. The contrast isn't as overwhelming so I can see more comfortably, and the yellowyness that the sun tends to tint everything is uncomfortable to look at, especially for long periods of time. The sun also doesn't seem to help much during winter. It continues to be about as cold as it'd be, it just makes it more unpleasant for the reasons listed above. In the summer, however, the clouds tend to help for heat a bit, especially when it rains, but we haven't had very rainy summers for the past few years. ____________________ |

| I like sunny days, primarily. Too many cloudy days in a row will actually affect my mood (more accurately, my depression) adversely... I like it when it rains or snows, but ugly dirty-looking grey clouds that produce nothing and do nothing but hide the beautiful blue sky just depress me. ____________________ |

I picked cloudy because I love watching clouds drift by but when it's all nice and mild outside, sun is preferable.
Though, if I'm confined indoors or if I'm in the car, I love a good thunderstorm. Nothing is better than sitting near the window and watching lightning light up the sky. It's just beautiful. ____________________ —Sofi |

| Similar situation in which I am not fond of sunny weather, my eyes aren't customed to work through sunlight or otherwise bright surfaces anymore. I also don't like the heat, my head releases enough of it as it is.
I wouldn't mind having a STRANGE ATMOSPHERE though...but as it tends to not happen, Cloudy gets the vote. ____________________ Posts = 3164

| It depends on the temperature, I prefer the sun only when it's cold (70F and below). If it's warm/hot, then I would enjoy a cloudy day. |

I hate snow because if it's snowing, it means it's very cold outside and I will hate being outside overall. I also hate rain, but rain when it's 80-90 outside is nice  |
