As in your body, how flexible are you?

Last night I rediscovered how inflexible I am. My back has been hurting when sitting in my car's driver seat so I started stretching it out a little last night... I can barely sit at a 90 degree angle with my legs straight out let alone bend forward to reach for my toes. So I'm going to start stretching every day to try and increase my flexibility and relieve this back pain. I think most of its because my muscles are so tight, my legs are very inflexible as well.

How about you guys? Are you flexible and can do strange things with your limbs or are you a super tough chunk of metal that doesn't bend?

I used to be able to do a split when I was in high school... now, not so much. Those were the days. I'm still reasonably flexible, at least. It might be on account of my height to weight ratio, but I'm not sure.

I kinda have some form of a double joint in my elbows. It's not too much, but they can bend backwards a little.

I'm alright flexibility. I don't stretch or anything but I can generally move or sit however I want without much trouble, as long as I don't reach the physical ends of the range of my joints.

I can also do some things that some people would wish they could do.

If I practiced enough and stretched my legs out, I could probably get a leg over my head. As it stands now, however, I can touch my foot to the top of my head.

I've always had a nice touch of flexibility. I attribute it to my time spent in gymnastics as a kid.

Double jointed thumbs. I can basically win any thumb war by virtue of twisting them backwards.

My legs can also be bent up backwards to my back, and also twisted around so my toes are pointing inwards and touching one another, and almost turned around so my heels are both facing one another.

I once could do the splits, but would need to stretch to do that. I could also bend around backwards and escape handcuffs, which I can almost still do.

So, yeah, I'm pretty slippery.

As a kid, I did gymnastics along with my brother. (Why? I have no idea.) So, I'm fairly flexible, though not as much as I used to be.

I actually remember one day where I walked so much that my leg muscles got stiff and hurt like hell and my knee joints simply ragequitted.

I had no school the next day, but the next day I was still barely able to walk without some kind of muscle hurting.

My fingers are probably double-jointed--I can bend them back to almost a right angle without it hurting.

I can also put my legs behind my head with some effort.

I have a friend who sits in class with both legs behind his head (effortlessly), saying "Problem?" to everyone who looks at him

I'm pretty flexible, but I have really tight hamstrings.

Ah, I can bend my fingers back at right angles myself. And my toes are so long, I can pick things up with them.

I've picked things up with my toes on occasion. Especially as a kid, to be funny. "Hand me the remote, please!" "Here, I'll foot it to you!"

I never really considered my toes as "long", but I can do this too. It sure beats bending over to get something I dropped.
