So I found a Youtube video that shows off several aspects of Action 52, including what appears to be leftovers from a racing game.

Could anybody find these and post them on the wiki? Don't have the ROM and I'm terrible with hacking.

I'd be neat if somebody looked deeper and found more stuff as well. Considering how awfully programmed and made Action 52 was, I'm sure there's a ton of leftovers (graphics, programming for unused games, etc) they never bothered to delete.

Maybe someone could ask the creator of the video, cheetahmen92, to post the stuff. After all, he did post some things on the Action 52 page, albeit a good while ago.

Though I did find a couple unused enemies in Cheetahmen II. I should get around to posting those sometime.

I remember reading that Cheetahmen 2 has a shitload of coding leftovers from Action 52 in it and a blank ROM bank that hints to there being an ending at one time (the latter mentioned in the Cheetahmen 2 FAQ and discovered by our very own BMF).

I know I'm shooting myself in the foot here, but could this game hypothetically be hacked to the point where it can be deemed playable?

Note that I'm saying playable, not good. Though that would be a sweet bonus.

Well the difference is that SMW is a great game in the first place.

I think a level pack for games like Ooze, Non-Human and Fuzz Power that actually take into account the quirks with the physics and the like would be fun, but considering how fucked up the game is internally (IIRC each level is it's own game), you'd be better off making a homebrew game that uses A52's sprites and attempt to emulate the game's "physics" as best as possible
