The point is that even with the chest, you'll never find your items again if you were completely lost (unless you managed to find the chest later). Without it, you could know exactly where you died, and show up at the spot only three seconds after your items auto-disappear, like what happened to me.



Especially on a server, where lag could unfairly kill you and glitched chunks could vanish all your items, it makes it seem more fair. Besides, if you fall in lava or get buried alive, it's not like you'll be able to get it back without some serious effort.

And is this on the same map, or something like? If not (as in, it is its own map) then it's basically only a novelty as far as I'm concerned. If it is indeed from the same map then, I do not object to the idea of it at all and (if it is possible) wouldn't mind seeing something like that on the server (under the condition that bugs are fixed such as the water dents).

Looks pretty cool.

I'd love to see something that can generate large ocean maps, with random islands here and there - like the Great Sea in Windwaker. Not an ocean on a normal map, a map that's just a bigass ocean.

I know standard MInecraft generation takes over when you hit the edges, but if it can be generated large enough through another program, that problem can be... minimized, anyway.

One of my friends showed me a vid of the next release having automatic repeaters. So happy I can kill off a lot of my old ones that were simply for distance increase.
