Woo, the abomination known as Flash.

After editing SWF files using a hex editor, I've gained an insight into the inner workings of Flash.

I learned that it's full of integer overflow bugs, which affect everything from color blending to coordinate mapping. (And that's just what I've seen from personal experience!)

I've also learned that the "best" quality setting makes it render with better image interpolation than the default "high" quality. You may want to experiment with that when you get around to importing images and making them scale and such.

Now original size and slower (and self-hosted, because I'm too lazy to find a good free host but not too lazy to decompress a SWF, hex-edit it to change the framerate and find the original size, and recompress it).

I actually have a class where the only project we have is a 30-second flag metamorphosis project. It's actually an awesome motivator to know that the work I turn in could be a work shown.

But instead of working on the project outside of school in order to finish on time I work on a derp Erichan project I will probably be run out of town for.
