Is yours a first generation one, too?

Before the current one, I never would've grabbed one - the difference between those and the iPhone was just too great, whereas now they're at least comparable.

Well in my case it was a gift, so I don't really mind anyway... the music player I had before only played music, so I guess it still has more features than that.

True - any generation will be better than a plain music player.

The one thing I miss about the old one though is OGG support. I liked that.

My iPhone 4 is jailbroken. Mainly for SBsettings which allows me to turn on/off things like Bluetooth and wifi quickly from any screen to help conserve battery life. Instead of having to go to the home screen, then settings, then general, then Bluetooth, etc. I also use 5 column wide apps, custom home screen, and Parallax which allows for panoramic backgrounds that scroll when you swipe. Here's my phone in action:

My Insignia HD radio tends to eat batteries quickly... my Sansa Fuze's batteries last quite a while though
