I can't remember the last time I actually saw one of those, though.

Sadly, I never saw many creative ads like that battery one.

Some people are pretty creative.

A bus powered by Duracell batteries? Now that's very creative

"A horrible person". That's what it says. "A horrible person."

We weren't even testing for that.

I also love this one (even though it's a bit hard to see):

My Illustration and Layout teacher showed us that smoking ad in class. It was pretty creative.

Reminds me, I saw a bunch of great ads about smoking a while back.

Not ones on a bus, but I'll have to dig them up.

They have those sorts of buses in Boston too, but I've heard the transit authority hates them and only will run them on the routes that have the most severe crowding issues... since the route I rode most often was a fairly minor suburban route, I never have actually been on one.

Sounds about right, they only are on the busiest Los Angeles streets.

And they run everyone off the road and threaten pedestrians on corners. It's baaad.

Seattle has a lot of those bendy buses as well. Around here, they seem about as common as normal buses.

I've seen the guys who service the ads on the bus stations. They have a truck and they go by, wiping down each window.

Unfortunately, they can't do much for the scratches etched into the glass.

Philadelphia doesn't have those buses at all. I didn't even think they were that common elsewhere.

And scratched windows... too, too, TOO common.

I was on a double bus once in NYC when I got into the city with a friend of mine. That was kind of neat, to be honest.

Watch out when you're walking between the 2 halves of the bus, as it'll swivel when the bus makes a turn

I remember being on a double trolley once, if my memory's serving right.

Those aren't so bad, though - they have rails to run on.

They have the bendy buses downtown here, too. I've never been on them, though.

On that note, tunnels in subways can be creepy sometimes. Well, I mean light rail--unlit dark tunnels, you know.

The noises light rail makes are a bit weird too. Once, a bum wandered on and annoyed me too. I glared at them and they went away, while my Dad hid in fear.

longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
