Operation? Geez... I hope that went all right. *hugs*

Time to go to work in this "storm" or "blizzard". I just call it "messy".

Hasn't happened yet. Happens tomorrow. Basically, one of my organs chose not to be in the correct place so they have to fix that. If not, I believe I'm at a higher risk of cancer. I've had a letter from the surgeon telling me I can keep the organ, but I've also had someone tell me that I might have to lose the organ. Either way, I am not happy about being put unconscious. Not only that, but apparently, after the op, I'll still be sleeping off the anasthetic and I'll feel like I have no energy to do anything, which is not good, considering the amount of homework I picked up.

Thanks for the hugs

Holy shit, that beats my appendicitis from last year...
Most teachers are pretty understanding, and I am sure they will give you plenty of time to make up your homework from Organ-Reassignment surgery.

Aw man, that kind of sucks. I had a bunch of surgeries when I was put unconscious, waking up is the worst part.
Hope it all goes well... Stay in touch!

DSLR Cameras, why are they so damned expensive? I really want a Canon EOS 5D Mark II... price is $2300 body only! Lenses are $400 and up for good quality ones.

I'm under a ton of stress, hopefully I'll be able to rest and relax during the weekend with my boyfriend.

Wow, it's cheaper to just buy an old film SLR, then use a film scanner.

(Well, almost.)

When it comes to cameras, the one on my iPod Touch is good enough for me.

Better video quality than anything else I've owned. Picture quality's great in bright places, too.

Well, the main use of an SLR is to be able to precisely control the taking of the picture.

Of course, Digital ones cost a ton... because the old film ones used to, heh. Seems like nothing has changed...

I'm a fan of the digital age. I love people who love using film still. They're usually better than 99% of digital camera photographers. But I like seeing my pictures as soon as I take them and being able to take 300 of them in a span of a minute or so I had a Nikon D300 (also expensive but had to sell it eventually), and I liked it but Canon has better video capabilities and is a full sensor 18MP camera. One of the best out there besides the Nikon D3X which is about $7400 for body only.

I find digital cameras a lot more convenient. They can store hundreds of pictures and I can just put the SD card into my laptop or desktop computer to access the files right away without having to get them developed.

My parents buy disposable cameras every time there's an event. They fill it up, take out the film and throw away the camera. I'm more modernized than that, I use my smartphone.

I have a 35mm SLR film camera that I used for photography classes during high school. Worked pretty well.

Yep... while raiding at my gf's parents' house, I happened across a 35mm point-and-shoot... takes great pics too

I remember the early digital cameras were only in either VGA, XGA, or even QVGA

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
