Maybe you can take the old .exe from XP and run it in 7?

I can't imagine that working D:

Yes Inkscape is relatively straightforward, just need to get used to vector stuff. I also have FontForge for TrueType and OpenType fonts, which are vector also, so the knowledge helps.

InkScape is what I use for vector stuff as well... though I don't do much vector stuff.

Eh, it works for one to take ancient Windows 1.0 apps into XP, so maybe it could be worth a try.

Well, if it does, it'll most likely give me the drive I need to actually make some freakin' comics.

Seriously, I must owe at least 60 by now.

Actually no, you need to convert Win1 apps. XP only supports Win3 and newer apps normally.

Oh. Right.

Well, Win 1 is one of the most ancient ones anyway, but XP to 7 is nowhere near as big a jump.

I don't see why it wouldn't work.

XP Movie Maker works on 7, as far as I'm aware...

I often use Inkscape to make logos, simple diagrams, etc.

Often times, I export a PNG and then import it into GIMP for finishing touches

For graphics, I actually use my DS. Colors! or DSOrganize, whichever one.

I'd try Colors! on iOS, but it just makes so much more sense on the DS.

Do you use the stylus to draw, then?

Yes, actually.

Colors! has a shit load of potential for what you can do in it. The images are only 512x384, though.

Yea... much easier than the iPhone/iPad, which doesn't even use a stylus

There are iPhone styli... but they have fairly wide tips, so they probably wouldn't be any good for drawing.

Yea... wonder where I put my tablet

As for the DS, Nintendo basically started a revolution with the touchscreens

I'd have to use them to figure out how well they work. Don't really have the money to buy Colors! and a stylus, though.

I can't wait until I can jailbreak the thing.

I never actually jailbroke my iPod touch... nowadays I'd imagine even the jailbroken software requires iOS 4, so I've probably missed my chance.

Which generation do you have?

You might still be able to update to iOS 4, actually... hell, I think all but the first generation support it.
