Those little kitty statues are cute

That's one of many things I don't miss about living in the Midwest. Sure, snow can be pretty when it just fell, but it's a pain to deal with, it's ugly when it's all in dirty piles for months, the accompanying cold can be brutal, and it can shut down cities and cause accidents.

Here, it's dipped below freezing occasionally, but we've had almost no snow all winter so far. Lots of rain.

No snow, but today is pretty dang cold. It's been above 55 the past 2 weeks or so but today our high is 42 for the day. This morning it felt like it was freezing cold, although I'll guess it was around 36 or so. Still pretty cold for here. We don't get under freezing all that often.

Dunno how much has fallen by now but we're expecting another 5-10cm by tonight.

It doesn't look like a lot of it's hit the ground yet, but it's the wind. Definitely have some reduced visibility out there.

I'm getting a lot of laundry done and I finished removing all that stinky old Google ad code from my site. So, the day didn't totally go to waste.

You wanna know how screwed-up the weather is right now? It's still snowing lightly, and yet it's just warm enough that some of it is melting already. I can see it dripping off the gutters of my house.
