This code was created by Ralf (from GScentral.org), but like the Luigi's Mansion debug codes, these are only for the PAL version and I'm pretty sure not a lot of people know about it.

As you can see, this is just a simple pause/resume/frame advance debug feature. But the GUI makes me very excited of what else might be in here just around this particular memory region, or in other versions of the game. I don't know if the debug codes unlock more on other controllers, but maybe someone else can check it out?

I know this is probably too small to warrant it's own topic, but if it does have one debug mode, it might have more. Coincidently, I checked the US version of the game as well, and there doesn't appear to be that much of a difference between the two versions of the game except for the addition of more languages for the PAL version. Nonetheless, this should mean that a action replay code for the US version shouldn't be too difficult to make.

Hope this a sign for more to come.

I have actually been hoping to look through Battle Revolution as its been well known that there were MANY things cut from the final release shown in action at one point or another (albeit in demo form)...granted I've been having a hard enough time finding the damn thing as all I have is the game disc itself, and I imagine the Japanese version might have more unused gems hidden about it than the English one...though who knows.

In regards to this, its a pretty cool find, and I'm curious to see what other interesting things this game might hold. I imagine XD has numerous things left over from this game as it clearly used not only the same engine, but the same freaking maps and music in a whole number of areas.

I checked XD and it appears to have the same file structure, as well as the debug fsys file that's in Colosseum as well. So I'm sure that this same exact debug is in that game as well.

I might check Battle Revolution later as soon as I get finished looking through some other games first. But along the way, I want to see if I can poke around the memory region for the debug codes I posted to see if other stuff might pop up. It's a bit difficult for me to do it with Dolphin though, so I might have to bring out my Wii and try to use Wiird on it or something.

Specifically, I know that originally Battle Revolution was meant to have attacks actually damage the playing field as well as actually be shown executed on the Pokemon as opposed to just a camera cut like it currently does. Also the HP bars originally showed the HP numbers on both sides, but that too was scrapped. An even earlier demo showed FMV models of Red and Leaf as trainers, so I'm curious if their models might even still exist in the game/are usable as trainers (even more curious is that said model of Red looks a LOT like the one later used in Smash Bros.)

Only other thing I can think of for curiosity's sake is if the models/textures for the Emerald heros are in Colosseum. XD would not surprise me as much, but for Colosseum? It always surprised me, so much that I suspected the textures may actually just have been stored in Emerald itself and loaded over the original Brendan/May models. But that's just a suspicion, really. I have no idea what else the games might hold, but those are definitely things to look out for.

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
