Into The Dark, a Homestuck fanfic (primary pairing: AradiaxSollux, with some FeferixSollux), can be found here--there's a lot of formatting and such that would take a while to replicate here. It was Jossed by recent updates, but is still one of the only good things I've ever written. (Editing to say that I guess I should warn for a fairly graphic death scene and mentions of suicide.)

The Actress, a Canterbury Tales parody, is worth reading as well, if you want something less depressing and more comedic.

Okay so we had to write a fake newspaper article for English, right?

Here's what I wrote.

Santa Cruz, CA: A local man, identified as Gamzee Makara, is staging a protest at the clock tower downtown in favor of legalizing marijuana. Makara, age 19, has long been an advocate of marijuana legalization, and hopes his protest will help raise awareness.

"Someday, I hope it will be legal for a person to toke up on a joint to make them stoned," said Makara.

The legalization of marijuana has been a major source of cultural conflict, particularly in recent years. While many people support the legalization of the drug, just as many people are vehemently against it.

The protest will be held at 4:20 PM on February 18, 2011.
