I once tried to use my phone as a note-taking device, in my case at least it didn't work out very well... and I have one with a physical keyboard, too.

Yeah, even the record thumb typing times are rather lame compared to proper typing or handwriting. I think I seriously broke the record once when I was pissed off and typing really fast to someone. Very fast and no mistakes. :p I imagine a lot of people can beat the record, just most people don't care to, because it's not really something to be terribly proud of. This was on a Droid 2, using the physical keyboard.

I had an iphone for a while, and typing on that was even worse. Typing really requires some kind of tactile feed back and separation between the keys.

Looks like I also have an extra gift of some Microsoft points as well! Gram just kinda forgot it somewhere when they were bringing up Christmas presents.

Unfortunately, I can't use them until after the new year, so sad face.

At least I'm still going to get The Maw like I wanted to though!

I don't even have a physical keyboard on my phone, so there's really no way I can use that as an effective note-taking device. D: The digital keyboard is so annoying sometimes

...Well, at least it was marginally better this time around. My Christmas season cash stash now adds up to $285, not sure if I'll use it to get one of these, an Arduino, or if I'll hold on to it and buy a 3DS later.
