The only person who ever PMs me is Bloodstar, and it's almost always about me needing to talk to him on AIM/MSN about something.

PMs are largely obsolete, in favor of IRC (and other instant messaging applications). Perhaps the only thing you need PMs for is notifying users to go to IRC, or for huge texts where instant messaging doesn't work.
