This game is amazing, and I love it. Sadly, it runs poorly on my laptop and I am not near my desktop until the 14th, I think...
If you could whitelist Arp1033 in the meantime, however, that would be very good.

Somehow that doesn't seem particularly impressive after seeing a couple of my friends do a pixel perfect (okay, technically tile perfect, but close enough) rendition of the Zelda 1 overworld. That version also has every cave (complete with black floor and fires and every text string on the signs) and Level 1 finished.

They used tools for everything I hear. Plus insides of houses aren't accurate. My friend tried to do an accurate Hyrule Castle, but the inside is SO much bigger than the outside. Also, why was the castle made of wool? Cobbles would've worked fine, or iron blocks even

It is impressive to see it done though, even with tools :x

Using tools it could probably be done really fast (Instantly nuking the land to create a flat area for building, or a copy-paste grid for marking) would make it a lot easier, for one thing.

Doing it by hand would be one thing and one thing only: tedious as all fuck. Especially with tools breaking, now.

Yeah that's gonna be kind of hard to work around. I had an idea to fix that for dungeons when I was considering a Link's Awakening map, but it wouldn't work right for houses. Or the Castle.

Basically drop down a couple z-levels and you've got all the room you need.

Yeah, to be honest, this looked lame to me. Boring and could not fathom how one would pay for a incomplete game. Boy was I a moron. This "incomplete game" is funner and more unique than anything I've played in years.

Honestly, I'd be all for setting up a new world, but I'd have to check with everyone to make sure it's OK that we clear the map, then fix the player data (so you don't spawn in the middle of nowhere), probably keep regenning until we get a decent starting biome so the grass colors aren't ass, then take some time (alone ) to prep the map with Cuboid.

I think there's a map editor which can create new blank chunks pretty easily for an SP map, which we could just copy onto the server

I've got a 3x3 grid mine system. The outer 6 are underground tree mines. Then I drop down a level.
