Imagine a pool, but it being closed for various reasons and/or overally rather bad.

That about sums up this place. There's one nearby public pool and ... It's not worth going to.

Same here... and I still have to do all the work of netting out the pool, setting up the pool cleaner, adding chemicals... and all for nothing, since I'll just have to do it tomorrow anyway.

At least it wasn't like my mom's old pool, that we had many years ago... it was one of those above-ground ones, and needless to say after a while it went into disrepair because nobody used it...

Within a short time, it had turned a nice shade of green, and even better it soon was full of algae... to the point there were huge chunks of it all oer each wall and everything

We had a pool that was small, but it was easily dirty in a week. Cleaning it out was a chore. We don't have one anymore, although my mom and dad are thinking about getting another one, this time bigger. I'm not going to use it since I don't even have a bathing suit anymore to even go in the pool.

Yes, I have an above-ground pool, and every year when we open it, it looks like that. Usually takes a week or two of work to clean that thing, and then we need to keep putting algicide in the pool to make sure it doesn't come back, we swim in it, but the algae just doesn't want to go away.

You only have to use sunblock two days a year here (three if it's a really hot year)... yay for Massachusetts, though it means that I'm completely unprepared when I go on vacation to places with hot climates and so come back bright red...

Odd, we have a spa now and it stays mostly clean... until nobody uses it for months and we need to clean it again

But usually it's just "add chemicals, run for a bit, get in"...

Temperatures have been going down to... oh, the low-high 80s and low 90s.

It rained once, but it was at night. And it didn't even last for 15 minutes... We need more clouds and rain. I miss having 60 degrees of good.

I love thunderstorms, except when I'm trying to do something on the computer. I was born during a massive one, maybe that's why. My dog hates them, though. He always tries to attack loud things (vacuums, motorcycles, etc), but can't tell just where the thunder is coming from, so he gets scared and hides under beds and such.

I had another dog who was so scared of thunder, it actually wrecked her stomach after a while.

Right now it's like perfect out. It's kinda like that "just before it starts raining" state, but doesn't look like it's actually going to rain. Just overcast and cool.
