Weather was snowy and slippery here. I'm hoping it's a little clearer tomorrow, because I need to go to the post office and mail something. Hopefully it shouldn't be too bad, but eh, it's a Maine winter.

This may very well be the day where I actually spend an entire day at college!

You don't see snowmen too often in suburbia.

Then again, there's almost no kids around here, so...

When I was growing up we lived in a suburban neighborhood that had a lot of young families, and there were a decent number of snowmen... since we moved, though, that has changed quite a bit... though my brother made one last year.

64 right now and they're still saying we're going to be in a freeze warning tonight and tomorrow.

Started snowing a bit as I left New York earlier today.

Let's go back to the late 80's-1990's and forget that the 21st century ever happened for the sake of our gaming, music, and reasonably sane technology. I would buy a new Famicom, Virtual Boy, Super Nintendo or Game Boy/Colour game if Nintendo started production again. Star Fox 2 would be great.

Now I realize why so many of my relatives have moved to Florida...

It also snowed the morning I left for New York. Forgot to mention about the dusting.

It's pretty common around here for older folks to have a house here and a house in Florida, so they can go back and forth and avoid all the crappy cold weather that happens around here.

I honestly think that's a good idea and I should do that when I'm older.

Wouldn't you rather move to the Sun to avoid the occasional breezes?

The trend among my relatives seems to be to just give up on the Northeast and move to Florida entirely... it's a self-perpetuating cycle, the Floridians spend all their time at family events talking about how great it is down there, drawing more people down there...

And then suddenly, it was nearly freezing. Currently 38F (5C) with a low tonight of 33F (1C). This is the first time I've layered clothes in a long, long time.

It's 52 right now. I hope it warms up, I have to ride my bike to work.

Blowing snow outside. Along with falling snow.

5cm today, expecting another 5cm tonight and 1-2 more tomorrow. Then more at the end of the week.

Hello winter!

9 is nice this time of year!

Snow's still blowing but the snow trucks are out. That is a good thing. At least I'm not in southwest Ontario; some areas there could see A FULL METER of snow by the time this is all done.

Here, it's 46°F (~8°C). Pretty nice when I'm dressed warmly enough.

My mom said that it was really cold back in Michigan.

Suppose to be low 30's tonight.

I heard that some record lows were broken over the night. Last I checked it was around 45.
