I would be very, very unwilling to help him if the shovels were cracked.

Hopefully they'll die soon so you can get some new ones.

Oh yeah, it's great, they used to be the type with the metal bits on the end to make it easier, but now they've broken off and made it harder...

Still no snow, but it did rain a little today... =)

I wonder if we'll get over 6 inches before December 1 =P

It's gonna snow tonight, then tomorrow, which is good cause I'm marching in our area's extremely early Christmas parade (I play the marching snare drum), and then it's going to rain. With windchill, it gets around 28°F-36°F most of the time. Quite the annoyance. I'm not a fan of snow, because of the retarded snowmobilers and 4-wheel riders and shit that think they're being cool by revving their engines around my house. Man, everyone in my neighborhood is a douche.

Don't need to shovel anymore.

Having to shovel stairs, a balcony and a big driveway years ago? *shudders*

Same. Yay for apartments

Sometimes I'd have to shovel my parents' driveway. Ugh, it always took forever and often the snow would still be falling, erasing my work.

Oh God I fucking hate shoveling snow.

I know I'm going to be doing it this winter too, and it's going to bite.

I never start when it's still snowing.

I see people do it all the time. What's the point...?

Sometimes people have to get their car out, like my dad going to work at like 5 in the morning. Thankfully, my parents didn't make me get up that early for him.

We haven't had snow yet, but it's expected.

I love snow. However, I hate snowBALLS. And of course, when there is snow, there is usually ice. And considering that the college carpark is suppsosed to turn into an ice-rink, I am NOT happy.

Yeah, when it snows, that means shoveling time! But not for me.

The only way that's being shoveled free is a small path for pedestrians out of the complex to the left and right. They apparently expect cars to do fine in the snow.

It was 37ºC today (99ºF for you luddites in the stone age).

No snow here whatsoever. :|

No snow here yet, but since I'm going up to the "In Laws" near Ithaca for Thanksgiving & Black Friday, and it's due to snow shower or even snow there, I'm putting the snow tires on Hemi today.

You might have to do it while it's snowing if you're expecting a massive snowfall... it's easier to shovel 20cm twice than shoveling 40cm. :\

My old high-rise in Michigan was surrounded by a parking lot, and when it snowed they tended to plow the snow so that it lands right around the cars. Must have been hard to get out, although I don't drive.

Yeah, but the seasons in Australia are the other way around Do you get snow in the winter, or does it stay too warm for that?

Well luckily, that's it for the snow right now. It's raining now, but the snow still lingers.

Eh, all I can do is hope that much of it goes away by New Year's, which is definitely not going to happen because of where I live. Also, now I'm going to hope that we don't get anything like the Ice Storm of '98 again. Oh God, that's shudder-worthy. Blurrrrrgh.

More snow today. I trudged the 3/4 mile or so to the place where I meet my therapist, and it was closed.

I can understand why, though. Sure, Seattle gets a lot less snow than Detroit, but that also means they don't have an army of snowplows and salt trucks to deal with heavy snowfalls like Detroit does, so the roads are pretty bad. Plus, so many more people use the sidewalks in Seattle compared to Detroit, and the snow on them tends to compact into dangerous ice before anyone shovels it.

It snowed today... A LOT!

At least the trains went on time, to both me and my dads surprise, so, yay! :3

Still had to shovel the driveway when I came home though! V_v;

Man you guys are so lucky that you even get this weather. I love snow, even when it's heavy since it gives me something to do. Unfortunately, Northern California is a wasteland filled with nothing but bland, sunny weather.
