I never had New/Coke/2 myself, though... I remember hearing that it's still made for a small number of markets where it caught on, but that might have been outdated information.

I think Coke 2 was discontinued in 2002. It lasted a good decade though.

And while it had similar tastes as Pepsi, it still had this... uniqueness about it. It's hard to explain, but I will say it did give off this Pepsi vibe, all while masquerading as something original.

Unlikely I'll ever get another taste of Coke 2 though It's easier to acquire Mexican Coke. And, if I might add, much better than American Coke.

I'd be willing to try any foreign brand of Coke that uses actual sugar.

You guys really need to watch these. Also, I tried Mexican Coke yesterday expecting it to be awesome, but it tasted like either old 2-liter coke, or like it was mixed with root beer which I can't stand. Don't know what happened there.

Yea... a local supermarket sometimes has Mexican Coke for sale... never bothered to try it though (maybe I should next time =D)

Some stores here stock Jarritos, which is a Mexican brand of soft drinks. I haven't noticed Mexican Coke, though.

I've only seen the glass bottles of Mexican Coke in stores, they didn't look much larger than the plastic containers of American Coke... (though it's nice that they still use glass bottles)

The ones imported around here pretty big. They're about doubled the bottles size, and hold a little over a liter.

Previous posts I agree with:
- Throwback Dew, Pepsi, Dr Pepper: These are not a full-time item... I wish they were. I'm almost out of the Dew & Pepsi and have been out of Dr Pepper for about 2 months. Thankfully I buy ~6 12-pks of each on sale ($2-3 a pk) and stock up when I can. But that corner of my laundry room is now empty.
- Crispy M&Ms: they weren't bad. I could go for some.

For my contributions:
- Anything that used Dextrose/Cane Sugar VS Corn Syrup. Not just sodas but candy too. I swear it used to taste better...
- Captain Crunch and Golden Grahams: The ORIGINALS. Not the re-formulated stuff. The old stuff would get all gooey in milk, sticky; not either crunchy or soggy. The reformulation sucks, because it had such a great taste when it got like this
- Rice Krispie Treats Cereal: I haven't seen it in ages so I assume it's gone away.
- A-Treat sodas: They're still around but there used to be so many flavors I can't even remember that are either unavailable in my area, or dodo. Drink it while playing with a Waterfuls. Wonderfuls.
- Blue Houdini/Great Bluedini Kool-Aid: This mix changed color. Big deal, all Kool-Aid mixes kinda do that anyway. But it was awesome tasting.
- Cherry Pez. Not available in the US but Can still from what I gather. They might have come out with it again in the US but without the red dye that the FDA banned. I think it was Red #5.

I knew something was different about Captain Crunch in my memories when I was younger versus the most recent times I had it... and this whole time I had been chalking it up to nostalgia clouding the mind.
