Hey, at least you do check in from time to time, FP It would be nice if you could come more often, but I understand RL and other interests getting in the way.

November's gonna be awesome, I just know it Very often, some really bad thing happens to me right around Halloween each year, but everything's better as November goes on.

Ah, yes, November... hopefully it won't snow too soon.

Paulguy's Post configuration
Ah, the start of people packing on the winter weight. Except my weight is pretty stable, and I don't eat a whole ton and I exercise so I don't really need to worry. :p I can eat all the unhealthy food I want.

We also have a lot of Halloween candy left over.

I usually do! The cold weather here is mild compared to the northern winters. Terra can attest to that! I always loved the lake effect snow in Michigan but thats probably because I never had to drive in it.

November should be a good month for us. Not sure where we'll spend Thanksgiving yet but it'll probably be at our house or my uncle-in-law's. Thats where most family food gatherings are held. Hawaiian food is so good!

Oh, and I can finally make my mom's holiday scramble snack. Its like Chex mix but 10 times better. Homemade from Chex cereal, cherios, pretzel sticks, and peanuts mixed in a secret sauce. Its so good you can't ever put it down. We make the big tin pans full of it (like what you cook a turkey in). Usually 3 pans will last about 3-4 weeks so we end up making another before Christmas.

Winter of 2003 in the Thumb was particularly brutal, and it would usually be below 10°F most days for like 2 months. We had ice storms in the spring and some pretty cold days even into June. I'm fairly cold-tolerant and I was sick of it.

Winter of 1999 was similarly harsh, but we got a whole week of snow days (plus some other snow days) out of it

November is pretty much my last month of classes (as I only really have classes during the first two days of September, and then it's exam time) so I really can't wait until it's over. I also have two Saturday midterms this semester, two of which are calculus so it's probably not going to be a lot of fun studying for those (plus I have various assignments due throughout the month that I'll have to find time in between studying to finish).

So hurry up December, it feels like I've been waiting for you forever now.

well, it's all ready been in the low 50's (fahrenheit) around here for about a week or two. Though I live in Wisconsin so, I'm used to it. Also today's, my birthday. yay.

It's not just you. This has to be one of my worst semesters yet, and I can't wait to get it over with.

Aw, poor Danielle. I was only out of it for a couple of days after mine were all taken out... I think it was about 4 days before I could eat solid food (VERY slowly) and another 2 days after that when the stitches dissolved and I could eat with just a tiny bit of swelling.

You should be fine in a couple of days, don't worry.

Happy birthday, Zild!

Here, it's been in the 50s Fahrenheit and rainy. It's not too bad unless there's a cold wind, though.

50s? *chuckles*

Try 40s creeping into the 30s here, Terra. And it's just gonna go downhill from here...
