Do you enjoy the holiday themed Oreos or the classic type?

Any particular way that you eat them?

Are the holiday ones the mint ones? Those ones are good...

Personally I prefer the classic ones to double stuf, I'm not sure why, I guess I just prefer the stuffing-to-cookie ratio?

I have the Halloween ones right now (orange) and I've seen the mint, reverse oreo, blue, and I think pink oreos.

I like the all-vanilla ones and the ones with vanilla and chocolate filling. =)

How many varieties of Oreos have there been? I remember a strawberry one like four years ago or so... now that was good =)

Halloween Oreos piqued my interest a couple of years ago. Still haven't had any though. I need to get some next week along with some awesome Halloween cereal (you know the ones.)

I've never tried any holiday oreos (mostly because I didn't know that they existed) but they look good.

the peanut butter Oreos are, hands down, the best ones after Double Stuffed. So worth grabbing if you see them in stores. As for the seasonal kind...I used to have ones with red/green frosting for Christmas a few years back that didn't really taste any different. I see the mint ones...regularly, so I assumed it wasn't a seasonal thing. Still, each flavor is awesome.

Hmm, maybe they changed the formula? They probably do that to remove ingredients that are hazardous. =P

A long time ago, people didn't know that cadmium poisoning was the cause of the disease in impressionist painters, or for the people living in this one part of Japan (don't remember which) =)

Back when trans fats first came out, they didn't know they caused heart disease or cancer =/

I like Oreos best when they are deep-fried, and regular Oreos are good as well. I loved the Coffee Oreos but they discontinued them a few years back. :/

I used to like Double Stuf Oreos but for some reason, recently, they don't taste the same way as they used to.

As for Oreo-type cookies, I generally like the vanilla and lemon ones

I rarely buy actual Oreo brand.

I love the normal, chocolate cookie Oreos. I more or less like taking them apart, scraping the filling into my mouth, then eating the cookie itself, though sometimes I switch it up by splitting them apart, then taking the cookie halves with the filling together to make them double stuffed.

I remember when I made this thread.

...

Anyway, I still prefer the regular ones, and I still eat them just like any other cookie.

I always like mint, but that's kind of hard to find. Double stuff + milk =

Probably just your mind playing tricks on you. You expect it to taste different because it looks different... so you believe that it does.

The brain can be very deceptive; ever wonder why the lights are sometimes colored when food surveys are conducted?

Hm- I never knew that about lights, but I have noticed that when I'm served a dark-colored soda drink in a restaurant, I can't tell if it's Coke or Pepsi, but if it's in a labeled container or I have some reason to think what it is, I swear the Coke ends up tasting better... I'm just a puppet of corporate marketing
