With 20K coming up, I just had to look back at my 20K post over at Acmlm's. I know Jul isn't Acmlm's, but that's where the majority of us came from.

Way back on June 29th, 2003, when I was 23 years old (which was a pretty sucky year for me but that's besides the point), I made my 20K post.

Okay, where to start. I wanted to have this long speech already written, but since I was busy at work all day, that just did not happen. So I'm just gonna write it all out right now, live at ACMLM's Board. Hehe. Anyway, I'm actually nervous right now. Silly of me to be, I know, but I'm just so excited that I made it this far here.


I actually had this post written in my head but I didn't bother to type it out. I didn't have to work today and I've been watching BBC's Primeval for the most part. Now I'm at my in-laws watching my grandmother-in-law. She can't be left alone anymore.

I'm also no where feeling nervous. Why was nervous back then? I really don't know why. Odd.

....

You know what, this is rather silly of me. I don't want to quote what I said on another board ages ago.

So anyway, here we all, at 20K. It's a week earlier than I thought it would be.

Oh that reminds me, I need to check something....

Hehe, maybe I should wait until 8:56 to post this.

I do need to copy the layout code that Orlandu made for me and think of a new custom title.

Also, should I get a new avatar?

I would like to take this time out to thank Orlandu for this amazing layout and I'm sorry that I have to use your urls instead of mine. I just couldn't get it to work right and hopefully you can help me fix the issue.

Also thanks to Xkeep for setting up the sidebar to change once I hit 20K. Did not know that could be done. But then again, I suck at all this code related. Hopefully it works right.

So as I try to think of something to put as my custom title, I just want to say that I'm sorry for the dumb crap that I've done over the years.

I would also like to thank all of you for the great times at this crazy place and hopefully more good times are to come.

And I cannot think of a thing to put for my title. Oh well. No one reads those things anyway.

Enough delay. Hopefully everything works once I hit submit thread.

Acmlm got into the 38000s at Acmlm's I1 I can't remember any bigger post counts than that, though.
