My family also had our turkey yesterday, that way I could eat leftovers today before I went back to university .

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the other people up here in Canada Land!

Probably not going to do anything on Thanksgiving this year, although I'll probably be working that day (and get paid extra for it =D)

You just got my hopes up, thinking Thanksgiving was going to be in the very immediate future.

I guess I can wait another month and a half.

Happy Thanksgiving, Canadian Julers! And all other Canadians, too.

I don't really do much for Thanksgiving. We used to go to my aunt's McMansion in the suburbs of Detroit and have a dinner that got more insanely religious with time.

So is the Canadian Thanksgiving the same principal as the American version? Celebrating things to be thankful for and for us the coming of the Pilgrams, etc? I'm curious why turkey would be significant for the Canadian version since I thought that was just an American tradition. Do you have stuffing and gravy, etc too?
