How long until you start school again, Shadic?

For the math tutoring job I applied for, I asked for hours starting at noon each day, so I wouldn't have to suddenly get up at 6:30 in the morning or anything like that

Since I'm unemployed and have no early morning commitments, my sleep schedule is usually bed at 2/3am and wake up at 11am.

Back when I first started college, I had all night classes so I ended up staying until 6am and waking up at 1pm every day.

With my schedule of 2/3am to 11am, I get enough sleep, but even so, I still find myself napping at around 1pm and 7pm.

I think it's more like, adults should get 7-8 hours (although the average is less, at least in the USA), but less as they grow older and elderly people only need 6. Growing children should get 10-12 hours (more if they're really young) and as they approach adulthood, their needed amount of sleep decreases to around 8.

I got it from a whole bunch of health journals and stuff. I would link them but it is from a private database provided by my school. Basically they said that young adults brains aren't fully developed yet and they need more sleep...

I usually go to bed between 12am and 1am on weekdays and on the weekend I go to bed whenever I feel like it (I usually fall asleep between 3 and 4 while I'm watching Mythbusters [not because the show is boring (I love Mythbusters) but because I'm so tired that I can't stay awake any longer ]). On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I wake up at 9:15am so that I have enough time to wake up, eat, and get ready for my first class that starts at 10:30. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the same deal except that I wake up at 8:45am since my first class is at 10. On the weekend I wake up whenever I feel like finally getting out of bed (or when someone wakes me up for whatever reason...).

I went to bed at 20:30, because I was exhausted. And now I'm up at 12:15...

As I have gained experience being a student, I have started this strict sleep/study/time of schedual, which means I'll go to be at 22:30 on weekdays, and wake up at 6:30 (meaning if I could sleep all the time, I would get 7/8 hours of sleep). I get up this early in order to be able to go to the study halls at university at around 8 o'clock (no longer have classes starting that early, but I still show up, in order to get things done.), sit there + attend lectures until 16:00, and then I'm off! I do this, because I have learned the hard way what it means to fail courses and fall behind. No more excessive partying on weekdays.

Weekends, however, there are still no rules (set by myself), and I can just do whatever the hell I want. And it works, because I am no longer failing courses, and I am actually learning things, and I like it!

So yeah, probably the best part is, I don't have to worry about studying on afternoons or weekends, because by then, I have already done my lot! However, this requires a lot of discipline... and since I'm still only human, I do not always follow this strict schedual, and that is ok, because at the same time, it is important to not burn out completely.. what would I achieve then?

Yeah, this got to be about a little more than just sleep schedual, but as you see, it is not an isolated case. It relates to everything else I do as well.

It's an enigma
----------------------------------------------------
So...

Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday: [2am-11am]
Monday/Wednesday: [1am-6:40am]

Friday/Saturday: [???????]

Having 8am's on Tuesdays and Thursdays kinda throws off my sleep schedule.

And of course, Friday night and Saturday night are a flustercluck of what do I have the next day (Like football games, or stuff)

I usually got to bed anywhere from 2AM-3AM and wake up at at anywhere from 12PM-2PM. I really hate sleeping seeing how much of a waste of time it is, and I just don't like it overall. I'd rather be eating all or hacking. Well, at least I do get the suggested 10 hours of sleep even though I wake up tired anyway so I'm not seeing the point behind it.

Sleep schedule? Hah! I don't have a sleep schedule!

I work two jobs, one in the afternoon/evening, and one overnight, both of which have schedules that change from week to week.

For instance, todayyesterday I went to sleep around 10 or 11 in the morning and woke up at 11:30 pm. I get off work at 8am, but we'll see when I actually fall asleep tomorrow. I'm guessing sometime after 2pm.

There are schedules for sleeping?

I just really fall asleep when I need too, it varies everyday, depending how much I do during the day. If I'm on the PC playing games most of the day, I'll probably be up into early morning, even if I have school. If I'm out most of the day, I'll probably drop as soon as I enter the house, whenever that would be.

You can figure out exactly when I'll sleep and for how long with a single line of C:printf("%u minutes from now, for %u minutes.\n", rand(), rand());

well OK that would be up to 9 days, some exaggeration, blah blah

#55
Workdays: [anywhere from 9:00 PM to 3:30 AM] to 7:30 AM (more often late than early, mostly depends on how tired/bored I am)

Week-ends or days off: about the same or a little later, except I get my full sleep and usually don't get up before 12:00 PM ...

I used to have more of a sleeping schedule before (if you could call it that), where I'd sleep from about 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, but I finally broke that a few years ago

Weekdays:
Usually from 2am until 7:50am (That is, if I don't sleep in an extra hour. :|)
Weekends/holidays (except Christmas):
Usually 3-4am until anywhere from 7am to 12pm

Living on a college residence really screwed me up. Not to mention safegrad at the end of high school.

What helps me sleep?
Ambient sounds from outside, for sure. Also having street lights/moonlight streaming in through my window.
