Although I was hoping to get my girlfriend's computer working today, I figured out that it was the power supply that was broken... and much to my dismay, it seems to be one of those proprietary integrated ones -_-

So, it looks like I'll have to salvage some parts from it (RAM, CMOS battery, HDD, video card, and DVD±RW drive) and start looking for a new computer for her. =/

Meanwhile, I'm going to be transferring to another job (still with Staples), about 50 miles away... although it's quite far, my girlfriend has to travel a similar distance to work every day too... I might drop her off then drive myself to work. =D

So, that's basically why I haven't been on as much. =P

Quiet at work today too. Usually I'm annoyed by the noise level on Saturdays, but... it was peaceful.

Thats what you call a double bummer. I had to travel once a week to our other store when I worked for Ashley Furniture, but that was only about 18 miles. I hope you have a vehicle with decent MPG.

Been going around town doing things. Nearly panicked on Friday with getting home on the bus shenanigans since I had to use a line I never used before in order to get several things, then didn't want to deal with an hour's bus ride back to the college and another 45 to my stop. Ended up taking about a 20 minute ride to Western and Vermont then walking north about 7 blocks to where Western re-converges into a two way street and taking that bus close to my stop.

Still worth it considering. But Fridays appear to finally be the "go out and do stuff" day I've been trying so hard to actually have.
